Stolen mail, 'washed' checks and a $16K forgery prompt warning from Greenwich police

"...On July 8, Greenwich Police booked Maulany Holligan, 21 of Tobyhanna, Pa. on felony charges of first-degree larceny and third-degree forgery. According to an affidavit, the arrest was linked to an incident in which an envelope with a bank check for $16,277 was reportedly stolen from a mailbox on Valley Drive. ..."
