Bad checks, fake IDs and $100K in stamps: How a postal clerk in CT helped crack the case

"...realized the man before them matched the description of a person "who had been presenting checks in the names of various people" linked to accounts that had insufficient funds, a federal law enforcement officer with the postal service later wrote in a court filing. That individual had been purchasing stamps in post offices throughout the northeast "and elsewhere," the officer wrote. ... He eventually turned over his real ID, which identified him as Ezekiel Bailey. ... investigators were able to link him to other attempted or completed stamp purchases using bad checks and phony credentials"
