Pennsylvania Felon Sentenced to 10 Years for Shooting at Mail Carrier, Illegal Gun Possession

"... Martinel Humphries, 30, received a 120-month sentence from U.S. District Judge Christy Criswell Wiegand on April 9, 2025, in federal court in Pittsburgh.

According to information presented in court, Humphries fired four shots from a semi-automatic pistol at a mail carrier on January 5, 2023. At the time of the incident, Humphries was on federal supervised release from a 2021 conviction for possessing a firearm as a felon. He also had two previous firearm convictions from arrests in 2013 and 2015..."
