$750K Settlement Reached for US Postal Worker Ejected From Truck

"...A U.S. Postal Service employee has reached a $750,000 settlement over injuries she sustained while attempting to unload a trailer using a forklift. According to court papers and the plaintiff's attorney, the injury occurred on Jan. 14, 2021, when the plaintiff, Angela Massey, a 54-year-old postal worker, was using a forklift inside a tractor-trailer in order to unload its contents. However, according to the allegations, the tractor-trailer driver, Qasim Shafiq Mujtahid, pulled away with Massey and the forklift still inside. ..."
