The Post Office and the Community

We were a name, not a number

"... Once in a while one of us kids got to go in and get the mail out of the box. On occasion the Wyoming wind would blow the mail out of our hand on the way back to the car, and we had to chase it down. My dad used to get his size 13 shoes from King Size, and they came one to a box. The post office box would only hold one shoe, so the second shoe came a day or two later...."
