Mail Center at Cleveland Airport May Close

Airport post office facility may close by year's end

Closing of the branch, whose official name is the Cleveland Airport Mail Center, is being considered as part of an overall streamlining plan, U.S. Postal Service spokesman David Van Allen said Monday. Danny Pride, president of Cleveland Area Local American Postal Workers Union, said the union has been told the Postal Service already has decided to close the center when its lease expires at year's end.
